Parents’ Day Celebration

May 20th 2012. Setapak Church celebrated parents’ day at 客家人 restaurant. Many brothers and sisters made an effort to invite their parents on this joyous occasion. Some of them do not know God yet. Brother Loo and Sister Esther from our sister churches were invited to give their testimonies. Their testimonies were very inspiring and encouraging. Their sharing testified that Yahweh God lives and hears our prayers. He wants to care, comfort and bear our burdens. He wants to set men free from sin and to enjoy His blessings! He wants to care for us! We can go to God in prayers. Often in our ignorance, stubbornness, we choose not to go to God but to live with our lives in pains and sufferings. May their sharing continue to encourage the parents among us who do not yet know God.

It was a very special day. Not only the brothers and sisters were chatting away but the parents were also chatting away with one another. No one made haste to leave the restaurant. Everyone was having a good time getting to know one another.

We also have a wonderful photo taking that day. Bro Kah Leong kindly took the initiative to take special family photos for brothers and sisters.
